A WAY OF SEEING
The past,
made present.
Based in Rotterdam, Linda Post is the creative force behind TTOTT (The Talk Of The Town), a design studio dedicated to rescuing materials from iconic urban structures and transforming them into contemporary design pieces. What began as a personal fascination with discarded materials evolved into a mission to preserve the memories embedded in the physical fabric of the city.
Linda sees value where others see waste. Instead of allowing historic materials to disappear into demolition sites or scrap yards, she carefully reimagines them as functional objects for everyday life. Steel from bridges becomes lighting, wooden escalator components become furniture, and architectural fragments are transformed into objects that carry both utility and meaning.
At the heart of her work is the belief that materials carry stories. Every project preserves a connection to a place, a community, and a shared history. By giving these materials a second life, Linda creates more than design objects, she creates tangible memories that allow people to keep a piece of their city close to them.
