Reimagine Plastic Waste Through Art & Experimentation
Join us for a hands-on creative workshop exploring the artistic potential of discarded plastic objects. Together, well experiment with materials that are often considered impossible to reuse and discover new ways to transform them into functional pieces, sculptures, or artistic experiments.
Guided by the creative approach of KOACOA, participants will investigate how everyday plastic waste can become a source of inspiration through making, testing, and collaboration.
What Youll Experience
- Experiment with discarded plastic materials
- Explore creative joining techniques such as gluing, tying, drilling, taping, and melting
- Create functional objects, sculptures, or experimental artworks
- Learn through collaboration and material exploration
- Connect with a community passionate about circular creativity
Special Sketching Session
As part of the program, well also host a still-life sketching session featuring reclaimed plastic objects in collaboration with Sketching Around Rotterdam, inviting participants to see overlooked materials from a new artistic perspective.
