A small community gathering focused on creativity, sustainability, and reimagining waste materials together.
Participants will build collaborative sculptures using leftover objects from the Weggeefwinkel while sharing soup, ideas, and conversations in a warm creative space.
This workshop is organized by two local artists, Ieke and Judith, who work creatively with discarded and leftover materials from the Weggeefwinkel.
Together, participants will explore how overlooked everyday objects can be transformed into something meaningful, artistic, and worth caring for. Using reused materials such as plastic kitchenware and other forgotten items, the group will create a collective sculpture through experimentation and collaboration.
What I personally loved about this project is the idea of giving forgotten objects a second life and creating emotional connection with things we usually throw away too quickly.
The session will take place in an informal and welcoming atmosphere with soup, creativity, conversations, and collaborative making.
